Installing Rostra Global electrical cruise into a 1994 Ford Aspire.
I "think" everything is hooked up correctly except:
1.) No clue where the VSS wire is
One thing says 22 pin connector, one says 18 pin connector. I've tried every GREEN/ red wire (there's 3) going into the ECU.
There is a 22 pin connector on to the right side of the steering column, but all these wires run up to the muliswitches and ignition.
2.) The toggles. WTF does "4 cylinder Low", "high", "extra high" mean? The book doesn't say anything about it
3.) The switch I have has an engaged LED. Does this wire connect to the orange wire that terminates shortly after leaving the box?
We did the self diagnostics. Everything checked out except the VSS.
Thanks.

Small world after all.
No it doesn't help. =(
The 22 pin connector on the right side of the column has all the wires for like my turn signals and stuff.
So I have no clue why it would contain the VSS wire.
Plus, position 5 is empty, but I believe the wire in 6 is GREEN/ red, but we didn't try it because WhyTF would the VSS wire go into my ignition or multi-switches?

Shameless bump.

Alright, I still have no clue about what 4 cylinder high, 4 cylinder low, etc means.  It's a tiny 1.3L engine with 63 hp....so I'm guessing that's "low" right?

The wire it's currently connected to will not hold speed.  But if i hit set and then accel it will continuely gain speed....and gain and gain.

We did hook up the little ball chain.  It made installing it easier.  Could this be effecting it?
