The apearance of the icons that signify a new post has been posted since your last visit seem to act sumwhat randomly, If i am checking the security forum and then go to the fiberglass forum there are no icons for the fiberglass forum and, but if i go to it first there are then none in the security forum. Is there a way to fix this, some of the other forums i have used make use of a feature that marks them acording to wether or not they have been read, this in combination with a feature to show all unread posts and then mark all posts read comes in handy and makes it easier to give help to people that need it.

Just a suggestion

I follwed your suggestions and even maually deleted the cookies, and closed the browser before comeong back to the site and logging in again. I am still having the same trouble where as soon as i read a post all of the other "not read post" icons turn into the regular "read post" icons.

Yeah, same thing here. I just assumed it was service pack 2 messing with my computer because that was around the time I first noticed it.

just came back to the site, after a bit, to check and it apears to be doing the same thing.

I go to car audio forum.

I check a couple posts.

If after checking a post i hit back i still see the icons for the new unread posts

If I click the link to the car audio forum again then all theicons are gone.

and after checking a post in car audio all the icons are missing from all the other forums as well.

If you use your back button, the page is in your cache. Try clicking the link to the forum near the top of the page or from the drop down menus and the icons will be updated. If you're referring to the icons on the main forum page, these are based on time only and will not be updated as they are for each forum page.
