I want to make a square box around the tire well in my trunk and seal it off to get around 5 cubes, but my questions is will it affect the sound if it pointing up like that and also would it be possible to make it ported? I have no clue how I will make a port for it.

Here is a pic of what I want to do, but mine will be on a larger scale.

Any comments or suggestions would be very much appreciated.

What sub are you using? Any experience with Fiberglass?

I will be using one 15" L7. I don't have any experience with fiberglass but I have a friend who has a little. I would use fiberglass but my concern with that would be paying too much.
