ok lets see if i can describe what i want to do.i have a cargo storage area in my truck where im mounting my amp. what i want to do is add an actuator to have it lift up. so ill prob take the lid there now and remake one out of mdf . now never really did to much work with actuators. i was thinking of using a regular linear actuator when i found thses http://www.firgelliauto.com/default.php?cPath=104
think if i do that then mount the other on one of the actuator mounting brackets once it extends it will lift the panel. do you think this will work and is the easiest and cost effective waypop up panel? -- posted image.

I couldn't see how h http://www.firgelliauto.com/default.php?cPath=104 would work for you.
The second would be the right choice.
