I have been doing a lot of research on this before i buy anthing and i figured i would ask people with experience before i buy anything. I am looking at a piece of plexiglass that i want to light up the whole sheet with blue leds. the effect that i am looking for is like a disco floor square. what i want to know is if i will get a better effect with sanding the plexi or spraying on the frost paint or if there is a better way besides sand blasting.

sand blasting MIGHT be your best bet over sanding, for a more even distribution of the effect.. but, you do know they sell translucent plexi right?
Look twice, think thrice, 1 splice/ 1 slice!
This is a phrase i came up with and something i will now live by.

if you are going to go with sandblasting which is the better way to go unless you purchase already frosted plexi, use glass bead or walnut shell bead, dont use steel shot.
