I am in the process of acquiring a set of front seats for my car, coming from a model with the center console/floor shifter. In the meantime, I am planning a custom console to reach from the lower dash to the back seats. Here is where I need help. <p>
PLEASE, if you have one of the 94-97 Intrepid models with the floor shifter, measure the distance between the seats. It will only take a minute and brighten a fat kid's day. Thanks in advance for any help.

I have a 95 Intrepid. If you still need this info let me know what and were exactly you need measurements taken from.

Great! I am in need of the measurements between the closest points of the front seats so that I can figure the maximum width of a center console. The other measurements will be the same for the seats that I currently have in there. It is, as always, much appreciated

I measured from the top of the cushions at the front at the closest point and got 8 inches. If you need any other measurements let me know. Its not a problem.

Waffalobill, much thanks. Thats all I needed. Now, if the mechanic ever gets my car back to me, I will begin the project.
