I saw a install on the net where the guy actually used the Dupli Color Bed Liner in a can as his finish on his fiberglassed box rather then paint. It looked really really nice. Is there advantages or disadvanages of doing that?. I'd assume it would save a LOT of work since i'm sure that bed liner would automatically fill in alot of inperfections, and i'd assume you'd be cutting the sanding time in half and would eliminate the bondo process.. after you sand the fiberglass.. spray away!. It was a really nice semi glossed textured finish.

Any opinions?

i was going to do this as well, but decided to go with carpet instead.  it would be a really cool finish tho.  im sure it would also help sound deaden the box a little too.  my wife didnt like the idea tho, so im going with carpet.  another awesome finish would be powder coat.

I used that dupli color bedliner on the inside of my box to help with any left over dust and just for the hell of it. But im sure it would look pretty kool on the outside of the box. Go for it
dream it, build it, fiberglass it
