We found the magical "icing".............this stuff comes in a squeeze tube and once it dries it sands like it is drywall putty. The longer it dries the easier it sands.

Does anyone know what this is? Is it just called "Icing?" Has Anyone used this? Does anyone know where to get it?

i don't know about this "icing" but i use a produuct that can be described almost the exact same way.  It's 3M Flowable Finishing Putty.   Stuff is like drywall putty... but made to go over f/g or bodyfiller....   It's only good up to about 1/8" .... stuff is magical.... awesome for pinholes and even works like a primer... paint sticks to it and it hides blotchiness nicely.... u should try it, it's cheap and easy to work with......   http://www.3m.com   i can order it so i don't know where else to get it.

you can get it at any auto body supplier....finish masters, carquest, napa. if you just go in and ask for icing.......or even pink icing(usuall comes with red hardner and is pink when mixed correctly) they should know what you are looking for.
it does sand really well. it fills minor low spots, pinholes and the like really well. I love the stuff.
another good filler is evercote metal glaze. it works well too and the top is kinda accordian like so it is easy to squeeze out.

The stuff we use is made by Saber but I am told that Saber is a brand name product made for White & Peters.
