I'm making these for some tweeters that I'll be putting in my truck as soon as I get done.  They're molded off the A-pillar's.

My first attempt at fiberglass -- posted image.

Originally I wanted to do the door panel/kick pod thing, but it seemed too hard.  Little did I know how hard my great idea was going to be.   I've been sanding my ass off, so I'll definately try this the way the JL Audio website did it.   Anyone know the exact name of the spray that you use to give things a texture similar to OEM plastic?  I guess something like an orange peel?

I was planning to using the glass or duramix to adhere them to the pillars, and then duramix to make a nice blend with the other plastic.  I also didn't plan on this taking so long so who knows, but I'll be trying that plan first.  Hopefully I won't screw up the pillars and have to buy new ones.  I also got some glazing putty to fill some of the little holes before I paint.
