I have a custom box that I have built for my Cruiser. I been thinking about covering it with vinyl, but I am not sure I to make it look right around the tight bend I have. I have never worked with the stuff before and not sure if I heat it will shrink enough before it starts to melt. Here is a link for he box. http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/529247/2

Vinyl is sort of like carpet but less forgiving. You have to pull it tight, and you can even heat it up to stretch it for tight places. Get you some 3M spray glue to attach it. Get the stuff that comes out like snot, not the stuff that comes out in a fine mist.

That would be an easy mold to cover. Go for it.
dream it, build it, fiberglass it

if you REALLY wanna stretch it long and tight around those corners, i have seen on TV, that if you use a steamer, it'll soften the vinyl and make it more stretchy. good luck :)

selectproducts.com has three vinyles each more stretchy than the other.  the best is the hf vinyle.  It stretches from heat, really well.  It would make covering that box a breeze.  You should only need a yard.  That would be about $30
