I have 2 - 12" Infinity Kappa subs. I want to find a place for them in my jeep. I plan on making a custom fiberglass box for them. my problem is that I can't figure out the best place to put them. I love to go to the drive in theatre but it is a serious pain to take out the subs everytime I go because I like to put the seats down and make a bed in the cargo area. (Its the only way I can go see a movie because I have a 10 month old daughter). I was thinking I can build the box into the liftgate. I have 43" x 15" to work with. Is that too small to build a proper sealed box for my subs? That would be the perfect place for them and it would look good. Thanks fro any help you pro's out there can give me.

why not make them in the wheel well area, you have a space behind there that's almost wasted, and you probably wouldn't loose much width. that's how I'm doing my Bravada

The newer Grand Cherokee's have a recessed spare tire area like most cars. I was thinking about putting them in there, but then I can't lay down in the back of the cherokee because I would be laying on the subs themselves. I could go bandpass to fix that, but the recess isn't deep enough.. Maybe 10", and the subs have a mounting depth of 7".

and the wheel well area is really small so I would need to put one on each side... And I don't know if I would get enough air space. I kinda dread cutting the trim also....
