Alright guys im almost done with the gauge pod im making for my little brothers mustang.  I'm about to be through with the bondo and sanding, now I need to know how to paint it. I was wondering if i can get some spray paint, maybe some acrylic enamel and then get some clear and put over it what is it going to look like?

I think it will come out good, just make sure you sand it down to a real smooth texture and apply some primer!
