Ok, I need some help. One of the guys I work with and I(Installer for the last 12 years, LOTS of custom work!) are going to redo my trunk putting in bubble walls in front of the amps. What I'm wondering is what all I need to buy?? I wanted to do something totally tricked out in my trunk that not many have ever seen!!! Thanks for the help.

Like you see in a fish tank, I know I need a pump, and the tubes that you use in a fish tank that create a wall of bubbles. But I was wondering if I needed something special.

That might look pretty good.  Are you going to add neon lights to accentuate the bubbles?  It has to be really water tight and rigidly mounted to the car in case of an accident right. I haven't seen a fish bubbler in a while so I can't help much.  Are you trying to create an efffect that the amplifier is inclosed in water?  That would freak people out if you put some clear plexygass infront of the amp.  Have you though of a way of diverting the water incase it leaks or is punctured?

Yes we are adding neons to add an affect..we are also thinking about adding mirrors on 3 sides, yea the idea is to make the amps look like they are in water..they will be water tight, and seperate from the amp. I'm hoping it turns out like I want, if not we'll just keep on trying. Thanks for the help.

i've actualy done something similar in my house. if you go to micheals or any other major craft stores the will have water fountain kits. these are basicaly a low pressure pump and a bunch of rubber hose. if you seall off one end of the hose and poke holes in it with i pick you can put it on the outlet and underwater and it will give you bubbles.

another thing that looks cool too is if you use colored oil pumped from the bottom and sucked from the top.

Will it look like a lava lamp or will the bubbles rise faster that what it would in a lava lamp?
