I have a 1985 Buick LeSabre and I want to remove the rear deck (that cardboard stuff) and replace it with plexiglas and neon lights.  I have some new 6x9s and am wondering is it possible?

If u have enough money, anything is possible. Now being realistic, it wouldn't be an affordable venture nore do I think doing that to an 85 would be worth ur while unless ur planing to dump alot of $$ into it with upkeep. I'd suggest having it professionally done, the draw back to that is a panel that big would probably cost u around a grand and possibly more. Ur other option would be to get a panel of plexy glass and router it to your dymentions, I for one do not work with plexy so I can't tell u exactly how to do it, if its eazy or anything like that. Anyway, thats my $1.52

I'm with xtreamcc on this one. It's pretty impractical for many reasons. My recommendation would be to build some fiberglass structure over the rear deck and then vinyl it and add some plexiglass and neon/LED accents in various areas. That would look really good with a lot less cost and hassle.
