how many layers of mat should i have before I pull the project out of the car?

2-3 shoulde be plenty

Once I put the fleece down, do I have to layer it with fibreglass mat or just put layers of resin on top of fleece?

its best to put fiberglass matt with resin ontop of the resin soaked fleece....it adds strength
