what kind of fiberglass?

I was wondering if anyone knew what kind of fiberglass was white, the one i got from walmart is clear and thats what most of the examples i see are. However I have seen on tv and kind that looks like white paint anyone know what this is?

I don't think there is white fiberglass...it is just what type of material you use ex. what color fleece or mat

Colored gel coat. You can also add coloring agents to polyester resins as well.

Yeah it must have been the gel coat, I saw it on overhauling or one of those shows they said they were applying fiberglass but it just looked like white paste. I was just wondering because it looked like it went on smoother.

Well if it was like white paste it could have had a coloring agent, thickening agent, or even a mix of bodyfiller and polyester resin.
