I have a 2000 Dodge Dakota club cab and this Saturday is my birthday.  Instead of snowboarding for free I'm going to stay home during daylight hours on Saturday and Sunday and get some work done.  In my truck right now is a messed up plastic dash and only one door panel, new racing seats custom welded to the OEM brackets, and about $200 worth of Madmat and Dynamat Extreme.  I've ripped out all the stereo equipment, a door panel, the headliner, the carpet, the backseat, and all the plastic wall pieces.  On Saturday I plan to take out the seats, remaining door panel, and plastic dash pieces.  Then I'll clean out the inside and finish the Dynamat.  I have a whole 2nd bulk pack of Dynamat Extreme left to install.  I'll take pics after I get the stuff out and Dynamat in, so you can see where I'll be starting from.  Then, depending on how much time I have left, I will do the mdf frame for the dash and maybe even do the fleece and get some glass on it.  That will probably eat up the whole weekend since I don't get up early and I'm going out Friday and Saturday night.  I have a 2 megapixel camera and the pics should be good enough to post here.  I work Monday to Friday so I'll probably have weekly updates only for this project.  Just wanted to let everyone know what I'll be doing and that I'm finally starting after all the talk in the past.

I am putting in MB Quart 6.5 inch components in the doors (PCE-216 cause the Q series are too expensive).  For bass I'm using one JL Audio 12W7 in the custom subzone box which I will probably cover over with my fiberglass amp rack.  I'm going to use a 2-channel MTX amp for the speakers and another MTX mono amp for the sub.  I already have a high-quality Alpine CD player, but I may replace it with an MP3 player.  I also plan to install my PS2 since it acts as a game player and DVD player and I'll connect it to an LCD monitor that I'm going to mold into the dash.  I also plan to do a lot of red neon.

Sounds like a lot of work ahead of you.   Sounds like fun though.   I'm really itching to get another project started now though.  My brother wants me to do a sub box for him so as soon as it warms up time to get the glassing flowing again.

It rained Wednesday and today (Friday).  If it's clear tomorrow I hope to get some real work done.  I just need to go buy the 10" monitor that I will be installing in the dash.  Also, my speakers and amp install kits are being shipped right now, so they should arrive soon.  Hopefully I'll have pics up by later tonight, as it's 2:17 AM now in Cali and I just got home from a club.  I need to sleep then get to work.  Updates soon.  Adios.
