I want to post some pics but they are like 400KB each.  How can I shrink them to be 30KB which I think is the max size allowed on here?  Thanks

Use Photoshop or Corel Photo Paint and resize it there. Save the image and then post it here.

I don't have either of those programs.  Am I SOL?  I'd like to post pics if it's possible.  I started my project today and plan to take hundreds of pics as I do everything in my interior.  It will definitely be worth it if I can get those pics up.

did your camera come with a photo editing program? if not you might be able to find on on the internet, try zdnet.com they have a lot of freeware programs availible. goto the downloads tab, type in photo in the search bar and away you go some are free some are free for thirty days then you have to buy them. give it a whirl!!

I found Photo Resizer 1.06 at www.download.com.  I'll give it a try.

I used a program called Resize Your Pictures from download.com.  Pretty straight-forware name I'd say.  The pictures don't look that good when they are 30KB or less, but I guess they'll have to do.

You can also use Paint, and strech/skew. This would be a last resort.

If you host them on a website like photobucket then they will automatically resize them for you but still keep them large enough to view all the details in the pic.
