FG over plastic ?

i want to fiberglass my consol and some interior plastics in my IROC-Z, some plastic is sturdier than others so how would i go about doing it???   do i just pull fleece over it and get to FG'n ???? or just resin then FG???  need some tips and advice...  thanks.....

What are you trying to glass are you adding to the panels or are you cutting stuff out and then glassing over it or what?   Need a little more info to know what you are planning.

yes, im cutting some stuff out of the consoles to kinda alter the shape then i want to smooth it with FG and paint......

Might wanna try liquid ABS. Fiberglass don't stick to plastic very well. If it must be fiberglass though, try drilling small holes for the resin to seep through. Thats worked for me before. If you don't need to form a new shape there is no need for fleece. If your just tring to smooth out the dash, like for paint, there are probley easier ways than with glass.
