i have done a few fg projects but none using the magic mixture(resin/filler/hardener). I used it for the first time and was surprised with the results. My question is this. On the last skim coat, i didnt use enough hardener. Now i have a fairly large area that is still tacky. What should i do? I was thinking mixing some liquid hardener with acetone and trying that, but im not sure. Any help would be appreciated.

Either heat it up in the sun for a couple of days if at all possible or scrape all you can off with a plastic spreader and remove the rest with acetone and a rags.

What is you Miracle MIX formula.  I've used this many times.  I go 1 to 1 resin to Rage Gold + 8-10 drops of resin hardener + 1 thin 6 inch line of Rage hardener for a small batch.  Try this over as the last coat, it worked for me many times on tacky surfaces before.

i just used it the other day and i used MEK to thin it out a little more for a glaze coat. worked mint, sanded nicely. i tend to mix a little more rage if i want it more solid and a little less if i want it more soupy. the MEK if i need it even soupier.
