hey guys been reading through post all day about building sound systems  etc using fiberglass,  but since im new to this could anyone give me a good source to where to buy this online im not 100% sure what im lookin for, i have used fiberglass before it was in small tubs, i dont think its the same stuff you guys have been talking about because you can not put this stuff on with a paint brush (because its too thick) and you have mentions epoxy (sp) and thats what im getting confussed about.

any direct links to the fiber glass im looking for would be great.

sorry for the noobish question.

Go to any auto parts source store and ask for fiberglass resin and fiberglass matting. The resin will come with a small tube of hardener that you mix with the resin to help it cure to the matting. I used Google to search for "fiberglass resin" and you can pick a link from there.

I like to use polyester resin and 1.5 ounce chop strand mat. Sometimes I also like to use 3/4 ounce chop strand mat. This will take more layers but it seems stronger and is a lot easier to use if you are a beginer. I highly recomend U.S. Composites, in the U.K. though you may want too look for other sourses.
