fiberglass mat - i get at Canadian tire...off the roll by the meter, as much as you want. i think 5.99/M also widely available on Ebay, and you wont have to pay hazardous material surcharges or anything.

Resin - Parts Source...EverCoat 41.25 a gallon, also available at TSS (Top Shop Autorepair Supplies)

Primer - 1K high build etching primer Proform 649..Available at TSS aswell...available in Rattle can or by the pint

Gloves - Walmart...Laytex or Vinyl 5.99 for 100 pair count box in the Pharmacy area

Brushes - Walmart.....cheapest crappiest black plastic brushes they have.. 1" .89....1.5" .99 cents in the paint section

Sand Paper - Canadian Tire..in the Tool section not the automotive section you can get the 800+ grits in the Automotive section though

Grill cloth material for stretching - Walmart or Fabricland i never by fleece though...just a thin polyester material that is relatively stretchy

Filler - Parts Suorce...Rage gold..or .WalMart also has a "Bondo brand" product in the gold series of fillers i use sometimes

Kitty Hair - Parts Source...EverCoat

MDF - Home Hardware...generally about 3 dollars cheaper per 4x4 sheet, not sure about the difference in 4x8's though..i am sure it is cheaper though..

Home Hardware, and True Hardware also carry various Fiberglassing supplies..

i am not sure if you have all those stores down there or not but you can also try any of your local Marina's for products as well..they will most likely carry Epoxy resins other then Polyester, Epoxies will cure slightly differently and they dont produce Wax upon doing so..

There's a place called Cross Canada Auto Body Supply Ltd ( 34 Secord Drive, Unit 9 ) in St, Catherines that you can try to get stuff at. If your looking for brushes, mixing containers, tools & whatnot, you can try any Dollar Store for brushes & mixing container's and the other tools you can try eBay. I found packages of 5 brushes ( 1" to 3" ) at our local Dollar Store for $ 2.00 each package. Another great place to get stuff is Princess Auto ( Hamilton ) where's it cheap and readily available.

I use the panter's tape now in GREEN. For me it doesn't matter what kind as long as it's the least expensive considering it's garbage afterwards. I looked at Dollar Stores, Wal-Marts & Costco for my tape.

i use green as well and 2" or 3" wide rolls..use the 1' for the tighter areas with sharper curves..

and was that fifty bucks for a gallon of resin and 4 yards of mat together?...if so that isnt steep at all, what kind of resin is it? and who is it made by?

you figure mat is generally about 5-6 bucks a yard you got your resin for 26 bucks that isnt too bad..

Look at craft shops or flower distribution center's near you. They have that green foam that sands easier than 30 day old bread.
