just made thisin about 2 days, glassed it from the inside so there would be less sanding.  it goes into the cd player slot in a skyline.  is there any thing i should have done or any thing i coulda done better? any input is appreciated.

Do you have any power tools that could have helped you cut the straight parts ? Even using a dremel with a straight edge adaptor would have helped cause this would give the project a more professional look to it. Also, instead of making your own trim ring you could have used a PVC pipe instead that was the same inner diameter and this would give you a perfect circle. Otherwise you did you a good job if you didn't have the proper tools.

all the tools i had to make this were a jigsaw, dremel, and a drill, but i didnt have the straight edge adapter for the dremel. im pretty new to fiberglassing and made this for my friend, and only the front will show, so i wasnt too concerned with the back.  thanks for the feedback on this topic and for the box cover velocity.

i think next time i do a pod i will use pvc, because i had trouble getting the gauge to fit, but it eventually did after a while of shaving it down
