I have an accord and my question is, how well does fiberglass stick to plastic? I have stripped down my doors to the molded plastic base and before I cut them up I wanted to make sure that there will be no issues. Thanks

Fiberglass does not stick to plastic. You either need to cover the plastic iwht a material (fleece) and resin that, or dril a bunch of small holes in the plastic and resin both sides that that it bonds to itself.

what year accord?   i have a 96, and i stripped down the doors. i plan on glassing.  probably wont get involved too much with it till june when im out of class.  i been working on my interior overhaul for the last couple summers.  i did glass a small part of the door, seems to hold up really well.  the plastic of the door seems different than most plastics im used to. not sure what kind of plastic it is.  it almost seems like its not even a plastic, but so far the glass has held up. although its not done, nor installed.  i will find out this summer how well it works out.

would u like your chicken original or extra crispy?

i think you would be fine by stripping off the vinyl, and sanding it down some, to  get the junk off(foam and glue)  i used 80 grit, worked fine, then wiped it clean.   give it a shot, u should be fine

my friend just bought a vacumm pump. might make my glassing a cake

would u like your chicken original or extra crispy?
