Whew!! Hope they work now

wow that took a while!!! I will go ahead and list off the future mod's I plan on doing so you guys will know what to expect ( and i WILL! post pics as I go!!)

anyways, as i said before, EVERYTHING will be smoothed, and painted black to match the dash.

I am using automotive paint and clear. for primer, i used a filler surfacer made by SEM, wroks wonders on plastics with texture. for the filler, I used Dyantron, and bondo-glass on places over 1/4" thick.

Some of the pices will be upholstered in black vinyl (such as the headliner and door panel insterts*not pictured*).

The seat plastics and lower halves of the door panels will be left flat black for some contrast.

Inside the glove box will be a custom enclosure for my Xplod 12 disc changer and my future DVD player.

In the middle of the console will be a molded in 7" LCD.

Tweeters in the corners of the door panels.

2 sets of Infinity 6.5" components, powered by Infinity 4ch 440w amp.

I have 2 10" Infinity Kappa Perfect subs (dual 4ohms) that will be in a fiberglassed box, having the subs on the pass side, and my Hifonics mono amp on the drivers (doing it this way cuz i am 6'2" and need mor space behind my seat).

The console lid is going to be covered in black vinyl, with a painted 'glass tray in it for my remotes/change. It will be attatched to some computer desk tracks with ball bearings. i am doing this so the lid will slide back, and lock into place when closed. works very nice!!! under the lid will be a storgae compartment with a plexiglass bottom to see the Infinity amp (illuminated with blue neon). IM gonna finish the inside of that compartment with some bedliner so i dont need to finish it up nicely

The cubby hole under the deck has been changed since the pics. It now it molded in permanently, has the heater controls mounted in the back, and has 2 12v outlets in it (PICS SOON)

The console will be mounted with some old seat hardware. To bolt it down, I cutout a hole in the bottom of each cup holder big enough for the ratchet. Nuts are welded to the floor. (by the way, those cup holders hold EVERY drink you can buy at a store. just a 3"x4" adapter from Home Depot!!)

As soon as I get everything painted and while everything is being buffed out and finished, I am going to cover the WHOLE interior in FatMat, 2 layers in some places.

I have a Stellar ST9000 alarm to be wired in, along with a power window conversion.

I have a 2001 overhead console that will be glassed and will house the power window and sunroof switches. (gonne be painted black as well)

Doing a gauge swap from my moonies to needles. Also adding a 5" AutoMeter Tach.

hmmmm...well I think that pretty much sums up my interior plans. This has been a BIG project with TONS of sanding and lots of time into. I can't wait to get it done. As soon as this is finished, I'm going straight into acutal body work and engine build. Putting a 383 stroker in it. Holley TB, Vortec heads/intake, cam, headers, etc etc etc shooting for 350-400hp range. Then im having my buddies at http://www.atomicmc.com fab me up a semi-long travel kit. Truck will sit 8" higher on 36"x20" wheels, and cycle around 20" of travel. Boxed, heimed arms and King C/O's. Deavers in the rear.

Anyways, check back for more updates! I am out of school for the summer and have nothing but time to kill on this!!

PS, sorry for any typo's or multiple images. I had a LONG weekend!

Just a word of advice, it is easier to follow along with those pictures if you show them here and comment above or below them.
Example use this syntax for showing images here
[IMG]http://www.somelink.com/photo01.jpg[IMG]
of course you would place your photobucket link between the two codes.
I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.
When you do not know what you are doing and what you are doing is the best -- that is inspiration.

well i have had the dash/interior parts painted for about a year. the console is about 8 months in.*this is only due to my school schedule/funds* and the door panels have been 2 months. i only get to work on the stuff a couple hours every weekday.
