OK, so I decided to make eyelids for my BMW E36 325, and I made the eyelids, now im in the bondoing process. My question is how many layers will I have to put bondo and then sand it down, cuz it can get thicker but it wont be so smooth as I want it be. And I cant let it get too thick.Ill post some pix either tonight or tomorrow

Put the amount of bondo you need to get it smooth. I would sand down the FG first to knock off the wax that comes up during curing and get the larger bumps out of the way. then I would bondo that to make it smooth. It should only take a layer (or two tops) to get it smooth, but that will depend on how rough your lids are to begin with.

Good Luck!
