what vehicle and which panels specifically? Since there are many kinds of materials and surfaces for interiors of cars, there isn't a universal way of doing things.

Bellsracer could not be more right. Remove a panel that you would like to modify and look for initials (pp, ppo, abs, pc, etc). Different plastics have different processes.
Please clarify. What do you mean by “with out the fiber glass”?

I suggest slick sand. spray on a few coats and sand smooth. then paint and polish. i've done it before on many cars and it always turns out well. you can find it at auto paint suppliers. just don't use it for the soft type plastic, it could crack.

Actually there is a way to give all of your pannels, plastics, vinals and wood interior parts any look you want.  It is a compay called modicoat, i do not know if they are bassed all over the world or not but here is a link and you can chase it up.

They are only in australia and you have to ship your parts to them for them to do their work... From what I can see on their website, it looks like they only deal in Australia clients.

But there might be a company like that here... However, after looking at the prices of many of the parts that they have worked on, it's cheaper to buy a new dash (for most places)
