I have installed a Parrot CK 3100 in a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500. I had to splice in the wires as noted in the instructions, but am having problems wiring the relay. I want the radio to shut off when using the Parrot...I have the yellow mute wire coming from the mute cable, but not sure how to wire it into the relay? I looked on the relay forum, but did not seea similar question. Anyone have a diagram of how to do this? I purchased a relay with 5 pins, normally open or normally closed?

You want to find the ignition wire on the back of the radio. Then do as follows.

1. Cut the ignition wire.

2.The side of the wire that is plugged into the radio still goes to 87A

3. The side that is coming from the car side goes to 30

4. mute wire from parrot kit goes to 85

5. 86 goes to a 12v source

6 87 is not used.

Just use a standard Bosch relay

Good Luck!
