I have a 2003 Montero Sport that came with the Infinity system (has external factory amp). I have since put in a Panasonic headunit that I had from a few years back. I put the Panasonic in using some aftermarket adaptors to connect all the cables (including the weird proprietary cable that runs to the factory amp). I just bought the Parrot CK3100 and I am not sure on how to install it. Are there adaptors available to make this easy? I am willing to go back to the factory headunit if I need to.
Thanks.

No adapters are needed.......if you have a fax # I will fax the instructions to you...the ones in the box are crap. The only thing you will need is an external speaker to run sound.

Isn't there anyway to connect it to use the speakers the stereo uses and have it mute the radio?

Awe shucks, please write 'em down & post  'em?  BTW, I'm a professional, a professional engineer, not a professional installer.  Does that count?  Parrot 3100 in a Montero Sport? -- posted image.  I find doing these things myself (with occasional helpful tips from folks like yourself) to be far more rewarding than having a professional installer do the work.  I've already installed a radio, a gps, a scanner and two permanent NMO antenna mounts on my vehicle.  It was fairly easy work (though somewhat time consuming).  I'm thinking of getting the 3100 myself.  The installation instructions I've found online certainly are crap just as you have stated.  If I send you my FAX number, would you be willing to fax me a copy of your improved installation instructions?
