Hi. Long time poster to "Car Audio," but haven't posted much to the other forums here.
I have a question that is a bit outside of my realm:
I would like to hardwire a cell phone charger so the terminal is in the glove box.
How do I do this? Is there a way to "tap into" the lighter power line? Is there a better way to do this? Running a small line back from the battery.
The car is a 06 Subaru WRX Wagon.
Thanks for any help you can give!

To hard wire a cell phone charger you have to cut off the end that goes to the cigarette lighter and the center is the (+) and the spring steel is the (-). Ground the (-) to chassis and run the (+) to a constant wire at the ignition switch or straight to the fuse panel.

yes, and you can do this on any cigarette lighter accessories
i.e. cell chargers, mp3 chargers, inverters, etc...
