After installing a 2 way radio in a 2007 F-450, the instrument cluster fuse keeps blowing. There is nothing tapped into this fuse and after tracing all wires, everything looks ok. Any ideas on why this fuse keeps blowing?

Maybe someone has the taillight wiring for the trailer hooked up to the dash light fuse and is hauling a trailer with a short in that circuit.

Where and how did you ground the radio?  I've seen people run self tapping grounding screws through wires/relays/etc.  Also, when does the fuse blow?  As soon as you turn the parking lights on or a few mintues after, or just randomly?

What else is on the cluster fuse?  Often times, as mentioned above, the tail lights share the circuit, so there may be more to investigate.

After a few hours I finally found the problem. The dome light had been put back in improperly. One of the screws was in the wrong hole where it was grounding out the circuit for the light, which is part of the instrument cluster.
