If he doesnt have factory bluetooth then he can get a motorola T605.  This unit will let the user make calls and receive them through a seperate speaker.  When the customer wants to listen to music it would go through the car speakers via the rca cable provided with the t605.  Only thing is that you have to get a aux input kit for that murano that is available by peripherals which I think best buy carries.  The t605 is an external remote that you would position around the dash.  It can work great but only real down side is that it does not show the text on nav screen and to hear music you would have to put the radio on the aux input mode.  CAUTION, THE IPHONE MUST HAVE BLUETOOTH STEREO PROFILES TO LET THE MUSIC PLAY THROUGH THE SPEAKER, so call cingular tech support and ask about that profile before doing anything.

The other solution would be to go to the dealer, they would install a bluetooth kit and an ipod kit (many say that the ipod kit works on iphones)that will cost the customer a good amount of money that he will not want to spend.  Also, aftermarket kits are not available for a true ipod integration.

What was done for this vehicle if anything? I have a similar situation and want to get a fix for my customer. They have already purchased at t605 kit.

I actually spoke to the head Product designer at Motorola about the FM modulator and said they tested their T-605 with the SCOCHE fm mod. It WILL work best with their product.

Many fm modulators will "filter" out certain audio as you pass signal through them.
