Hey Guys! I'm new to this and wanted to register at this website. I have a couple of general questions that I will specify later. I have a Ford truck with dual 12volt batteries and one heavy duty alternator. I don't know the specifications of the alternator, but will get it later if I need to.
I plan to do some off road adventuring in my truck so I purchase three sets of Piaa lighting. I have one set of Piaa 580 (85 watts) and one set of Piaa 520 (85 watts) already installed professional on my truck. I don't know if I should install the second pair of Piaa 580 (85 watts) on my truck. Will I strain my batteries if I add three pairs of lights drawing (85 watts x 3)? Any recommendations? Thanks

As long as you're not running them for long periods of time with the engine off, you have nothing to worry about. The factory battery/alternator setup will be fine. You may want to look into upgrading the big 3. Never a bad idea. If you do a quick search on here you will find it. And by the way, welcome to the site.
