hi, im looking to install wig wag flashers on my 2001 ford taurus.

My flasher has 4 wires

RED = HOT (12 VOLT)

BROWN = GROUND

GREEN = HIGH BEAM HOT WIRE

YELLOW = OTHER HIGH BEAM HOT WIRE

When i hook up the flasher my high beams just stay on steady burn with NO wig wag (alternating flash pattern)

If I take my headlight out but leave the 3 wires plugged into the headlight and just splice into them, the flasher works like it should.

But the second i plug the headlight back into the factory oem plug, it pops a fuse.

Im thinking I have a positive feed side car, anyone have any ideas? does anyone know how to wire these up?? Ive tried pretty much everything and still no luck.

THANKS IN ADVANCE.

tommy...
