I have just replaced the 3rd brake light on my Surburban with an aftermarket led. Is there a delay that can be installed so the 3rd led brake light will be delayed and come on at the same time as the brake lights on the truck, or should I change the brake lights to LED lights to match. Any help would be helpful.

Could you be more specific!  What is a cap? Where can I get one? Is it something I will have to build?

Go to autozone and get some led brake light bulbs for about $15.  They're brighter, last longer and arean easy fix.
