Hi. I've been searching the posts on here for quite some time and came up empty concerning what I have in mind.
What I would like to know is how to wire in a Streetglow music interface so that my LED strips connected to it will turn on with the switch on the box, but also turn on when I open my doors. Im thinking a relay and separate switch would be in order.
I know how to wire up the kit, its just the relay part & connecting it to both dome and separate 12v im having trouble with.
Car is a 2009 Corolla S and domes are negative triggered.
Appreciate it if you could explain in detail or drawing up a wiring diagram would be even better!
Thanks in advance!

I looked at this post yesterday and today and didn't reply cuz i figured Mr.Idiot or Mr Pierson, would reply with some clever way of accomplishing that, but.................,

I'm thinking two six amp diodes, feeding the constant into the unit, one would have to be a switched source and the door trigger would have to be inverted to a positive signal via a relay and fed to the unit through one of  the diodes! The only drawback to this mr 09rolla, is that once your doors are opened the relay would be active, if either of the two guys mentioned before doesn't correct me or find a better way(which they normally do) within the next day or so, and you are still interested, post back and i would be happy to post some diagrams to assist you!

The relay part to invert the door trigger signal goes like this

Pin 87 and 86 to fused twelve volt source

Pin 85 to your door trigger

Pin 30 to the constant twelve of the unit via six amp diode (bar facing towards the unit)

The other twelve volt source could come from an accessory or ingnition source in the vehicle through a second six amp diode again bar in the same direction
