I am trying to install DRL on my 05 Chrysler town and country. I am thinking of using SPDT relay. Have the normally closed contact wired to my ignition harness so when I turn my car on drl's will turn on. The other thing is I would like to turn the drl's off when I turn my headlights on, and not quiet sure which output to use on the relay.

Wire like this

Pin 87a- to the drl's {positive side)

pin 30- to ignition fed twleve volts

Depending on the polarity of the signal you locate that triggers the headlights,

For a negative trigger fee

Pin 85- to the trigger

pin 86 to ignition

For a positive trigger

Pin 86 to the trigger feed and 85 to ground!

Thank you t&tt tech. One more final question, would it be beneficial to place diod between relay and trigger to prevent back feed?
