interior lights with neon or led

Hello guys, I own a 2006 Acura RDX and I have some questions regarding adding interior lights under the seats and around the seats with either neon or LED My goal is something like this picture this picture So my question is: 1. How would I wire this to my car? (Or Would I have to have them separate to my car's battery?) 2. Which brand light should I buy? (Like streetglow, etc) 3. How can I make it so that I can turn and off just the LED or Neon interior light? Thank you in advance.

I'll leave the basics and the tips for others, or for you to search in the FAQs and basic wiring etc. But if dimming is involved, be aware that you will require a "PWM" tyoe dimmer - most normal resistive or transistor dimmers - including ramp-up & ramp-down (delayed) dimers will not work.

I am not planning on getting a dimming one but thanks for the heads up anyway which brand should I buy for the LED lights?

Hello, I am interested in installing under-dash glow kits, the kits are easy to get off of amazon, but I'm not sure as to where i should get power from and what i should use, the obvious place is the battery direct or the fuse box but I'm not 100% sure which fuse i should tap from or what would i need along the line if i do from battery. someone also told me to just take power along my cigarette lighter line, I'm not sure are there any suggestions and possible diagrams anyone can help me out with. Car is 2003 Nissan Sentra GXE stock for the most part except for remote starter system. Thanks
