Check for a blown fuse for the stop lamps first. If the fuse is OK check to see if the bulbs are OK. Next, check to see if the lamp sockets are receiving power and ground with the brake pedal depressed. The brake switch is mounted above the brake pedal. The orange wire should have 12 volts + at rest. The white and light blue wires are the switched 12 volt + ones. If the switch is OK then you may have a problem with the wiring between it and the tail-lamps. Could be problems from the addition of a trailer harness. Good Luck

check to make sure the brake switch is properly mounted to the brake pedal. it should just twist and lock into place. sometimes they come loose/out.  especially if someone else has already been in there. do this in addition to sparkie's tech tip.

              good luck and fun!!!

do it right the first time....less warranty work=more money!:)
