Flashing Head Lights

What I'm trying to acomplish is making my headlights flash in an alternate pattern. I'd like to run it off a switch since its not for on-road use. Could I do this with 2 relays and a flasher, or would more be required?

All you really need is the correct flasher and 2 SPDT relays. A Tridon EL13A or a #537 will do the alternation part. They are also available from many poublic safety stores or eBay
You will need to cut the headlight wire in 2 places- once from the harness and then again between the 2 lamps Connect the one from the harness to the ckt below and then connect the outputs to the wires between the lamps
