I got this new anti-theft deterrent multi LED flasher thing off ebay. (It looks gothic, kinda like batman or something). Anyways, this came with no instructions, but seemed very simple, with only 3 wires, but it's  a pain the ass. I'm just wondering what each wire does. I have the black  wire(which I know is ground), and I have a blue wire, and a red wire. I'm wondering which wire does what, and which one goes where. This LED flasher has a button that's suposed to allow me to change the patterns, but upon testing this on a battery, I cannot get it to change patterns or antyhing, I can only make it do quick flashes when I touch the terminals to the wires, and that's it. I have an alarm in the car, so I want it connected to my existed LED flasher. I'm just wondering what the blue wire, and what the red wire do, and where the hell they go. Similiar to the "VARAD VS5000B"

Well, it looks to me like the blue wire is the signal wire. If you ground it, wire the red to battery and wire the blue to the red from the alarm led it should work.

Blue connects to the alarm status output-which is low when the alarm is armed...usually orange used for starter disable.

i have one of these to but i have not hook mines up because i am not sure where to connect the wire in my mirage. The red is for 12v the black for groun and the blue (my own as a yellow) is for the alarm if your car as an alarm. These can also be connected for cars without an alarm (my car) so that they will automatically turn on once the car is off to make the car look as if it has an alarm. The blue wire will have to connect to an ignition wire to work like this the back of the box gave me this
red 12v
black ground
blue or yellow stereo fuse.
