I have a 2001 Nissan Pathfinder, and I was wondering what steps to take to convert to HID lighting. Do you always have to upgrade the bulb housing into a projector type assembly?

This is a battle of sorts....you "should" convert to a housing thats designed for HID....but they aren't allways available. I did my 06 civic, 9006's 8000K  And till now have had no problems with being "flashed" for that anoying glare. I did aim them down a touch. Don't look for the best price....you do get what you pay for.

Do a google search.

there are sets at oznium.com and quite a bit of other lighting and wiring.

Very nice site if I do say so myself.

But if I may ask, sorry if I am "stealing" your post here bud, but I was also interested.  I have glass sealed beam headlamp.  Is it possible to convert with just the bulb and a housing adjustment??

Is the Pathfinder housing plastic or glass ? If your wanting to experiment with a projector you can always go to a auto recycler for this.
