ahoy there lads....
i have a few little LED dealys, and was thinking of hooking them up to my boot light..
so i have 2 main questions:
 - since the LEDs apparently dont really use much power (4 blue LEDs in total)
would i still need a relay?
-  and, where would be the best place to splice into the 12v positive line?
on the same topic, i also have a 12 inch aerpro neon tube(not an LED stick)...would that draw to much power to also attach?
thank you in advance..

not sure what your boot light is. please elaborate. you may be able to get away with just tossing the LED's in parallel and you'd probably be ok with such a small additional current draw. The neon tubes are a different story, i'd use a relay for them. the best place to splice into a 12v line is at a terminal, and always fuse your splice.
people may offer more advice if you could provide more information.

The LEDs are fine to tap into the boot light without a relay but make sure you use the right resistors for them. No relay needed.

As for the Neon, run it from a relay to power it up.
