1. Would there be anything wrong with screwing a new cable under where the power cable connects to the amp, to use for some neon lights? see, i want to hook the neon up to light up the sub, and so the power source is much closer, i'm just thinking about sending a wire up to the centre console to connect up a switch, which would be a lot les work, is there something else i should put in there?
2. Also, i would like to hook up some LED's (not led strip, but single led lights or possibly led cluster bulbs) under the car, to light up the ground, how would i go about securing them so that they won't come off when it rains, but i don't want to cause damage to the car. Also, i'm using 10 lights, should i worry about fade? would it be worth doing a parralel curcuit to try and avoid fade?
Thanks for any help you can give me.

you wont have probs connecting some lights to your amps power wire. you could use a relay to have them turn on when the amp is on
