i just installed a hid kit in my 06 gmc sierra. im having some interference on 1 fm station 105.7. the wierd thing is more like they are reducing the reception. while in my garage with the lights out i get good reception, but once i turn them on i get static. while driveing i get good reception most the time but if i drive under a bridge or some where where the reception is a little bad i get the static like you are driving out of range. turn the lights off everything is good. this isnt like engine noise its more like they are reducing the reception?
this is driving me crazy. in all my years of working on stereos and cars i have never run into an issue like this. any help is really appreciated.
