hey guys, i need help!

installed a new cd player in my girl friends 1994 daihatsu applause and now the lights that light up the speedo and tacho dont work. all other lights are working on the dash it is just the ones that are in the instrument panel. i have pulled the dash apart and checked the light bulbs and they are fine, its not a fuse. i disconnected the cd player and they still arent working

i am all out of ideas so if someone could please give me a suggestion it would be fantastic

Did this replace the factory deck? If so, put the factory deck back in and see if that fixes the problem, if so, then you'll need to T-harness your factory radio into another location and tap into the factory wiring for the new radio.
