strobe lights beat with music

Was up erybody i saw a video on the internet wit a car that had strobe lights beating wit the music . i was wondering does anybody know how or could know a kit or how to hook a strobe up to do that

I am unsure if there is a strobe kit that is pre-made to operate via sound. If not, you can purchase a sound controlled neon kit (since I know these are made.. see link: http://akamai.globalsources.com.edgesuite.net/f/593/3445/5d/pdt.static.globalsources.com/IMAGES/PDT/BIG/448/B1001007448.jpg and cut off the neon wiring, and connect to your strobe lights. You will however make sure that the kit you get is able to be customized in the way that 12V is supplied to the strobe lights as desired. Some neons do not have the transformers for them built-in and it may be built into the sound device. If so, the transformer may have a HIGH output voltage and would not work. In any event, this should put you on some sort of direction to go with the project.

Well that all depends. When I hear someone say sound system I think subwoofer amp....now you can go spend the extra money on a sound activated neon tube...or you can do what I did...hook the tube up to the amps speaker terminals...+ with + and - with -. Everytime the bass hits you will get a strobe effect...
