I recently purchased a set of these to run 2 way active along side my DLS Iridium 6.3 midbasses. I am wondering if anyone has had any experience with these tweeters or could offer up any suggestions on where a good starting point for crossovers would be?
Until I an get another XA4000, I will be powering these with an MA Audio 2ch 300wrms x 2 so they should have PLENTY of headroom. I like to listen to my music (hard rock/some rap/electronic every now and then) rather loud but I want to maintain SQ.
Ideas?

Great sounding tweeters. Lotus sells the H.P crossover for them. $60 each. If memory serves the X-over point is 3.2K @12db/oct. It offers a contour circuit. Running Two Lotus sets biamped off two Zapco c2k-4.0 and absolutely love them.
I just can't understand why you would be using MA Audio with either the DLS or the Lotus stuff. At a loss for words . . .

Good to hear that they are nice tweets. I will be running these active so I won't be using passive x-overs anywhere - but atleast now I know where Seas wants them crossed over :)

And I did say UNTIL I get another Eclipse XA4000 to power the tweets and my mids. I already have one bridged pushing my midbasses. I just have the MA amp sitting in the garage that  can use until my other XA gets here...

They are a bit directional. You'll need to play around with them. Mine are set at 2.5K @12db/oct active. I'm not running a ton of power to them.
Guess I'm just on edge with people's gear selections these days. My buddy has a customer using Pyramid Gold amps, some no name cassette head unit and ordered a JL ZR comp set and 2 13W-7's to be installed in a what looks to be an old mail delivery wagon. The current woofers are Radio Shack 10's mounted in the cardboard boxes they came in. He wants custom kick panels and a plexi box. We'll see how the pictures turn out!

By directional, do you mean off-axis response is not so good? Mine will be mounted in the door panels about 1 foot above the typical stock speaker location(lower-front door panels), firing straight across the cabin with a slight upward pitch.

Changed Morel MD-23 to the Lotus. The Morels were smooth and sounded great, but they lacked the sparkle the Lotus has. The MD-23 had great off-axis responce and little directionality. The Rt-25's are a bit more directional.

Thanks for the info. I think I will try and play with the positioning a little before I just mount them in the stock location. If they are on axis, maybe I can even give them less power and hopefully keep my noise down...

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you may for your tweeters? Or about how much do they go for if they are new?
