how do i hook up and cd deck in an 2000 garnd am with a  monsson or bose radio

There should be a PINK wire at the harness that is your amp turn on wire. Test this with the player still plugged in and then turn on the stereo and see if this wires goes to 12 volts and goes off when you turn off the radio.

Go to a stereo shop and buy the 15 dollar harness.  And like Velocity said, make sure you connect the Blue/White wire of your radio to the blue wire of the harness you purchased.

connect the amp turn on to the pink wire in the fourth part of the gm harness (the one that the power, front/rear speakers are not in) just like velocity said
