hey guys, thanks for all the helpful information up to now.  i am an old timer, that installed back in the late 80's early 90's, and boy how the industry has changed.

anyways, onto my question(s).  i have an 08 silverado crew cab with the 5.3L (non-flex).  i already have the second battery tray on the drivers side engine compartment.  i am looking at installing a Kenetic's 2400 as my secondary battery.  my question is, does or has anyone seen or made a bracket system for a dual alternator setup?  i am plan to run 8 kicker l7's and 2 2500.1 for the subs.  i will also be installing a at least one 650.4 for all the comp. speakers.  i want to make sure everything is getting the appropiate amount of power, so that i can run the amps (2500.1) at 1 ohm.  also is it recommended to run a isolator for the dual battery setup, or will running dual alt's, take care of that for me?

Thanks as always,

Troy

Um. How exactly are you going to wire up dual alternators?
